Sprung Formal Spring 2024 – Issue 19

Established in 2005, Sprung Formal, the Kansas City Art Institute’s literary arts journal, is edited and produced entirely by students. The print run is small, 250 – 350 copies, but the impact on the literary community is massive. Students learn how to work outside their comfort zone, collaborate with people of varying aptitudes and strengths, and are ultimately prepared to accomplish incredible things in their fields. Printed on Cougar, Sprung Formal is an example of how print brings people together and how students can achieve extraordinary results in a professional and collaborative academic setting.
