The lignin separation facility is located at Domtar’s Plymouth, North Carolina mill, where high-quality lignin is a by-product of the kraft pulping process.  This facility is the first of its type built in the past 25 years.  

Positioned near a deep water port and an interstate highway, Plymouth's location is convenient and allows Domtar to service domestic and international customers easily.
